Exploring a City's History

Roman foundations, medieval walls, Victorian restoration, and the mix of quiet corners and busy moments in the modern city all overlapping.

Chester's history is clear to anyone wandering its streets. It's in the ruined church arches, the Tudor-style buildings that frame the city, and the way old and new blend along the canal. A beautiful stop for anyone drawn to historic places.

This collection follows my quiet path through that history. Gates and alleyways, ruins and reflections. Capturing another moment in the city’s ongoing story.
