Photography Blog - 6 - Rusty Tones in the Rain

This collection comes from a slow walk through Stanley Park on a particularly wet November day. The rain had been heavier earlier, leaving the park almost empty. Ideal conditions for some quiet moments to take in the surroundings. In the edit, I wanted to bring out the rich, rusty tones of the forest. It made an otherwise muted landscape feel warm and inviting, even in the rain.

Stanley Park came recommended from a colleague I worked with at the time. Thanks for the suggestion Ty as it resulted in some of my favourite shots I’ve ever taken.
