Photography Blog - 5 - A Last Minute Excursion

This was my last full day in Vancouver and I met up with my old housemate I used to live with in England. He showed me around and, while it wasn't as far out as he usually explores from the city, it was still amazing for me. The tall pines of the North West Coast are something I only ever see in movies, so it felt like stepping right into one.

The air was cool and fresh and the river was so inviting. I wish I'd brought the kit I'd have needed to go for a swim. Open water swimming was something I took up during the lockdowns of 2020, and I've loved it ever since. Maybe next time we can jump in for a swim.
