This was my last full day in Vancouver and I met up with my old housemate I used to live with in England. He showed me around and, while it wasn't as far out as he usually explores from the city, it was still amazing for me. The tall pines of the North West Coast are something I only ever see in movies, so it felt like stepping right into one.

Given how few people I met along the way, The Quiet Path seemed like an appropriate name for this collection. The mist and rain kept everyone away from the park for the entire day, giving me plenty of time to wander around it in absolute peace and quiet.

The city slows. The chill creeps in. The leaves fall.

Even though I’m only now starting to share some of the photos I’ve taken and edited, I’ve been snapping away on and off for years. I just never felt comfortable putting anything out there.
